It’s time again to honour the best in primetime television over the last year. The 67th annual Emmy Awards, hosted live by Andy Samberg on Sunday night in Los Angeles, marked a truly momentous point in history, with Viola Davis being the first woman of colour to ever win an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama.

It was a huge night for HBO which came away with 43 total wins, buoyed by Game of Thrones (scoring 12) and was Jon Hamm’s last chance to finally nab a statue for Mad Men (which he did).

Similarly, this was Amy Poehler’s last chance to win on behalf of Parks and Recreation’s Leslie Knope, but sadly Julia Louis-Dreyfus came out victorious, taking home her fourth Lead Actress Emmy for Veep.

Check out the complete winners list. Did your favorites come out on top?
