attends the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on August 30, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Let’s face it, there’s never a dull moment at any MTV awards show, and this year’s VMAs were no exception. From Kanye West unofficially declaring his candidacy for president in 2020 to Nicki Minaj calling out host Miley Cyrus on stage, the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles were a night to remember.

Among the ceremony’s winners were powerhouse Taylor Swift who triumphed with 4 awards out of a total of 9 nominations, and Australia’s own 5 Seconds of Summer who lived up to their name and took home the award for Song of The Summer.
